[UPDATE] Huge size of aircraft.cfg for 737-900

17/1/2016

Hi everyone.

Last year I wrote a blog entry about huge size of aircraft.cfg when some of my 737-900 repaints are installed.
I deleted download links to this repaints and finally fixed them all by replacing aircraft.cfg of each livery and re-compile them all.
All links should work fine now and after installing all these repaints, I did not have this "irrational size" problem anymore.
However, please be aware that installing huge amount of repaints via PMDG Livery Manager can cause from time to time some problems. That's why I still suggest to install each repaint ony by one.

In previous post I also mentioned that this problem refers to -800 model.
Tom and Robert did a research and they found only several repaints causing this problem.
These repaints were fixed and re-uploaded.
Interesting thing was that some of this files caused problem for one person, but a second one was able to install it without messing aircraft.cfg.
That's why I would like to ask all of you to report to me via email if you find any problems with it.
I will re-check causing problems repaint as soon as possible.

Have a nice day, folks!

Can't download this one. And need one livery of Jet Airways(9W, India) of 777-300ER if possible.

Hi Rushabh.

You can use "Downloads" from menu bar on upper side of the website.
Links probably doesn't work in blog entries because some sub-pages have changed names. However, files are still there.

However, I see that you sent your comment from Indian IP address.
Since last year Indian Government is blocking advertisements from AdFly so probably will be not able to download any repaints here. Could you confirm that it still happen?

If this problem still occur, you can easily bypass it.
For example:

Original link is: http://adf.ly/YzyX2
Alternative link: http://ay.gy/YzyX2

As you can see, all you will have to do is to change "adf,ly" to "ay.gy".

Answering to your request - I do not know if you have seen this statement:

I do fill requests from donors as my "Thank You" for helping me cover all expenses I have to keep this library running and growing up.

Regards,
Wizzardos

Good morning Alex
Thanks for letting me know. This warning is related to adf.ly advertisement since they are unfortunately not safe if you open them.
However, there is easy way to avoid them - adblock plugin for your internet browser. Personally, I do use uBlock for Chrome with "cosmetic filtering" turned on. It blocks all contest from adf.ly pop-ups, however, still count number of visits.

Personally, I hate any pop-ups and I am aware how unsafe and annoying they can be - that's why April ist the last month when they appear on the website. At the beginning of May, all of them should be gone already. I just need a time to change all links that contain ad.fly entries.

Regards
