Surprise! :)

If you just woke up and didn't check flight_sim news outlets yet or if you live under the rock ;-), you should know that PMDG yesterday made big announcement in regards to their development tactics. If you heard the news already, you can skip to the paragraph about repaints.

In initial post around 20:00 (UTC Time), Robert said that they abandon any plans for XP platform, they also ditch immediately 32-bit platform. What was however more important, their Upcoming 737NG3 will be released for MSFS2020 only.
You can read it in details here.

Well, just three hours later, he surprised us with another statement that new version of 737 for P3D v4 is out!
Although, you won't find MAX version included, this is reworked 737NG. Base package which is available right now, includes 800, 900 and new 900ER version. Their tiny sisters -600 and 700 as well as BBJ and BBJ2 version will follow in expansion pack soon.
Full statement about 737NGXu available here.

PMDG changed their tactics which is a great news in my opinion and although you have to pay for new version of base package 99$, if you do it before 31st December 2019, as soon as MSFS2020 is out, you will receive 99$ discount when later simulator is out. Cross-platform discount is something new in PMDG's approach for price tagging their product and for sure very welcome.  Thanks to this, you can enjoy it right now and the new sim if you decide to switch but be sure to buy it before the end of the year. Otherwise you will have to pay full price twice, same as it was in case of FSX>P3D transition.

Repaints:
Now, let's talk about repaints for NGXu. I already received over a dozen messages from you where you ask if I'm going to buy NGXu now and if I will prepare repaints for it. My answer is YES, I will but I'm not in rush so it's up to you how quickly I will get it.
I just checked and paint kit for NGXu isn't available yet but if you want to secure your place for request in the queue, contact me via email (fsxliveries@gmail.com). Sooner = better. This will also give me indication how many of you are interested and how quickly I should re-arrange paint kit when it's out.
If you are in the queue already waiting for your NGX repaint to be done and if you would like me to make it for NGXu instead of old version, please, also let me know via email.

If you wonder if old repaints will work with new version, the answer is I don't know yet. I'm not sure if there are some external model changes made or not. Well, there is one addition PMDG made for sure - split scimitar winglet.
Anyway, if old repaints are compatible with new rendition, then this great news and it's a win-win for all of us.
If not, I will see what I can do to transfer them to new model and how the process will look like
. I won't give you any promises, however, neither I will make any definitive decisions until I'm sure about the model and how much of time it would take.

I guess that would be all for now but stay tuned because I have another news coming this weekend, maybe even today. :-)
